A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Roseville, CA. This contract position spans the current school year and requires providing therapeutic support to students from Pre-K through 12th grade. The role involves working collaboratively with COTA and facilitator support under supervision and requires compliance with mandated compensatory time.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services aligned with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) across Pre-K to 12th grade.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success in the school environment.
- Supervise and coordinate with COTA and facilitators to ensure effective therapy delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements.
- Adhere to compensatory time policies as mandated.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience providing school-based OT services within Pre-K to 12 settings.
- Ability to work full-time hours, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
- Familiarity with school systems and compliance with special education regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
